Hello Peace Champon is basically correct. Although there is good news, too. About 20-30 years ago or more subliminal stuff was big news. A man in New York, I think it was, said he had inserted the subliminal messages in a film running at a small theater, and sales of Coca-Cola and popcorn really had risen. Suddenly, everyone wants to get into the subliminal messages (messages from your subconscious but conscious brain recognize not register). However, this was not Full balony. A psychologist named Robert Zajonc showed that we can register VERY simple messages that we see such a short time is not registered in our consciousness. But as which refers to the edited movie, nobody could find no evidence that had functioned as intended. And indeed, the subliminal, everything has never been turned into a successful business. Anyway. The dream of learning idea appeared in the 1980s, and is based on the idea that lessons could be heard in his dream and that is that are easier to learn. That, too, was based somewhat in fact. And this is the "good news". What the study before going to sleep tends to be remembered more effective than, for example, some study in the middle of the day. In fact, I make my own studio before going to bed, and again in the middle of the night (4-5 hours that work for me) for about 30-60 minutes. (It turns out that many people have, of course, slept through two sessions each night, with a break in between. It is only recently that has meant I needed to sleep right through 7-8 hours.) The problem with learning the dream is twofold: 1. We are also deeply asleep to hear anything like a ribbon of learning during non-REM sleep, and we're in a dream only enough light to have any chance to hear a tape during the last period of REM sleep (REM sleep is when we dream). 2. Therefore, it is only worth having if the tape can synchronize with that last 20-30 minutes of REM sleep. Only you can not possible know, when you get in bed when that will be. So how can set the treadmill at the right time. 3. REM sleep, and has a purpose - running the tape may interfere with - if your dream was light enough for you to listen to the tape, but the light not enough to wake you up. So even if everything else is just right, your subconscious mind can simply ignore the recorded messages and continue the work usually occur during REM sleep. fwiw, mind maps, invented by Tony Buzan, is another great way to learn in a brain friendly way. There are plenty of sites line that gives you an idea of how this works, but personally I recommend you get one of Buzan's books for a full and accurate explanation how to use the technique.

I've been learning to speak French in an excellent audio course by Michel Thomas. The program will explain how to say "I want a glass of water" in French. However, when I told a friend who speaks French, I said I was wrong. She told me to say this instead, "Je voudrais un verre d'eau". The problem is that the CD that the professor says that other than sounds like this, "Je voudrain verre d'eau". I know you probably wrote the second sentence wrong, but my question is .... Who is right? My friend or Michel Thomas?
It's really the same thing. The second sentence actually read "Je voudrais un verre d'eau" if you could see it in print. In French, when the end of a word ends with a consonant and the following word begins with a vowel sound mix quite quickly so it sounds like "je voudrais'n verre d'eau ". The French accent can sound very confusing for a new president, so do not worry about his poor hearing. happens all the time. Votre ami et Michel ont dit la même chose, ils ont ainsi raison. (Your friend and Michel actually said the same, so both are correct.)
