His greatest difficulty in learning a language?

I've been working in Spanish, for a while now, and one of the problems is to remember all the verb changes, But the biggest problem is understanding when native speakers speak. Native speakers of Spanish speaking soooooooo fast! I guess I need to continue Univision looking for practice!

If I were you I wouldnt worry too much about the speed with which they speak now, just try to learn from many forms of conjugate verbs as possible. then you really need to hear the practice, I would recommend for you to watch the news anchors on Univision because they tend to have a very good vocabulary and Dont Speak quickly. I was so scared to talk once they learned English, I felt ashamed that someone would make fun of my accent and my poor English. so hopefully thats not the case, even if you say the word correctly people always try to find out what you are saying and it is corrected. dont take this as a criticism that has just learned of good luck ...

How effective is the Rosetta Stone courses?

I am thinking of investing in a course of Rosetta Stone to help me learn more Spanish efficient. Rosetta Stone has had great reviews, but how easy and quickly you can learn a language using the software? Thank you.

I "moved some strings "a couple of days and Rosetta Stone (all languages). Last night I was playing with the German but also played with a little Spanish (I already have a strong Spanish background of highschool / college courses and I wanted to see how the program teaches). The way it works is really cool --- shows a sentence with four photos. You choose the photo that matches the sentence. The program appears to work in the discovery of himself and gathering things --- like the dive. It is very simplistic. The only possible problem I see is that there is no formal grammar lessons. I do not know if I'll pick up the grammar or not. I collect a lot of vocab very quickly. . . The practice is very relaxing too --- like a game. All that aside, do not pay me what they are asking for this program ---- and I am extrememly interested in languages (having studied Latin, Japanese and Spanish in college).

Is there anywhere free good or good books to learn Chinese?

I decided to take Mandarin Chinese at school. I speak some other languages with varying degrees of fluency, on a scale of one to ten, (I am a native English speaker), Spanish 8, Germany 6, France 4, Russia 4, (I can read Cyrillic, and not just phonetically speaking) and I often pick up books at the library and how to bring fluidity to my pace back of these languages. I've always taken foreign language classes when available since I was a child and was raised in a multicultural household / family. I would like anyone to point me to similar resources where I can get a jump on Mandarin Chinese before you start taking classes. Does anyone have a good online resource or a list of the books I might want to search?
